I live with my wife, Marilyn, near Philadelphia, PA. We have been married for 56 years and, as the song goes, we are lovers and best friends. We have two daughters, five grand children (three girls and two boys) and two great grandsons.  We love to travel to the Caribbean whether on a cruise or staying on an island.

I am a self taught artist, though I have taken some classes both in person and online.. As a child I would draw constantly, create my own comic books, mostly Flintstones characters. I would also draw pencil or charcoal portraits of famous personalities of the 60s (the Beatles, JFK, RFK). I also liked to draw my father's profile when he wasn't watching. My mother painted, I have a brother who paints, my dad entertained me often by drawing funny characatures. So the DNA for art is in the family.

Back in the early 90s I began copying paintings in oil by Claude Monet to teach myself impressionism. I have always been drawn to the impressionist style and whenever I go to a museum the Impressionist areas are where I will spend most of my time. I have several Monet Reproductions that hang on the walls of our home along with many of my original paintings.

Life got busy in the 2000s and I laid down the brushes for awhile but jumped back in around 2013 and began working on original works of art.

Thank you for visiting my site.
